>> Craft Beer Run: So this is how we are gonna do it. Show up at BLAH at 10am, give us $23.33. You get an Anniversary T-shirt and 4 Beers on the run! At 10:15 we will run to Small Bar, drink a beer, run to Tiger, drink a beer, run to Toronado, drink a beer, and then run back to BLAH to drink the new Automatic release! It’s 5 miles in all, at a pretty slow pace, particularly at the end. Lee suggested people wear capes. Just saying. Meet us at 10! You don’t have to carry money, you can leave your stuff at BLAH, and you can wear a cape! Finish the run (in under three hours) and we will throw in a Three-Year Anniversary Glass!
>> AUTOMATIC RELEASE of THREE SPEED BROWN, very limited. We will run out. Made with Treehouse Coffee’s Yirgacheffe and organic malts. We are tapping it at 11:30am (but Lee might show up a little later sweaty and in a cape.) No growler-fills or sales (except the ONE in the raffle prize!)

But that's what the calendar man tells us. We have loads going on this month, let's get started, shall we? First up, the new place-

Have you been yet? Tiger! sports the same hours as BLAH-- Tuesday-Thursday we open at 5pm and close at Midnight (kitchen closes at 10) and on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, we open at 11:30 am and close again at Midnight with the kitchen closing at 10pm. Closed on Mondays.

The food? Well there is this giant wood fired oven in the middle of the room and with it, we make bread (all of of it in-house, fresh, daily) and oysters and a few other delicious things. The primary menu is Sandwiches- our take on the Bahn Mi, a Ham & Cheese with Egg and Bechamella, a Fried Polenta sandwich and more. Plus, raw and wood-fired oysters, soups and oh, some beer. We are leaning heavy on the drinkable beers, like the ones that maybe come in giant steins? Yes, we serve giant steins of session beers on Friday, Saturday & Sunday days for just $8 till 5pm.
That's one full liter of beer in a big fun glass for only $8.

This Thursday we are tapping Alesmith's Winter Yulesmith at Tiger! and calling it out here because it's delicious. And seasonal. And perfect for the slightly cooler temperatures coming our way tomorrow.

Every Friday until the end of the year we've got a glass giveaway at 11:30 am. Up this week? The gorgeous .4 liter tulip from Allagash, which will come to you for no charge with the purchase of an Allagash White (and maybe their Dubbel.)

This Saturday we are gonna have at least one and maybe even two Allagash Flights over at BLAH. Which beers you may be wondering? Pretty much ALL of them. We have got limited quantities of most of their beers and will be serving them flight only on Saturday, from 11:30 am until we run out. Lunch anyone?

Last time we checked BLAH had Russian River's Damnation Batch 23 on, as well as the Bruery's 4 Calling Birds and Mission's Dark Seas, plus a whole host of other great beers. Have you tried any or all of those yet?

On December 10th Adams Avenue is having a holiday soiree of sorts - businesses up and down the street are lighting their lights and showcasing what's special about the holidays. We are gonna have ourselves a little TRUNK SHOW in the Hamm's Room from 3-8pm with a handful of crafty vendors, plus, our back stock of T-SHIRTS and a few other goodies. And we may, although we promise no one nothing just yet, have the new 2011 SWEATER TEE in that day, as well. More on that next week...

If you have a young family and want to celebrate New Years but don't want the kids staying up till Midnight, this is the perfect time and place to bring 'em and celebrate. And then, and please take note, we are closing the kitchen at 9 pm and the whole place at 10 pm (last call at 9:15 pm) on New Years' Eve so that our employees can actually celebrate elsewhere. You can come hang out beforehand here, eat and drink and be merry and then celebrate the turning of the clock elsewhere!

Duvel Art Glass Night

We are gonna take a big breather before Beer Week begins and kick back with a Duvel in one of THREE crazy-cool glasses this Wednesday, October 26th.

They were designed by three different artists: Dutch artist Parra, the Belgian graphic artist Denis Meyers, and the designer duo Elley Kishimoto. $12 bucks gets you one glass PLUS an 11.2 oz. bottle of Duvel. We've seen these glasses going for as much as $20 each on eBay. The whole thing starts at 5 pm tomorrow (that's tonight if you're reading this on Wednesday!)

Then Sunday we are part of another great event: The KEEP A BREAST DRINKABOUT. Yep, this Sunday, October 30th, from 1-5pm the Drinkabout buses will be running between all the bars and each bar is giving $1 for every beer YOU buy during those hours to Keep A Breast, the truly terrific breast cancer awareness and education charity. Since it's the day before Halloween, we say DRESS UP!

Then Halloween is Monday. We are closed. Because it's Monday, not because it's Halloween.

And then SD Beer Week (which really, is a total misnomer, the things lasts ELEVEN days) begins on Thursday, November 3rd with a Lost Abbey night at BLAH. Friday will feature live t-shirt printing and our progressive cask (but with an extra special cask) AND Jeff Bagby from Pizza Port and a showcase of his beers. Saturday the 5th is the SD Brewer's Guild Fest at Liberty Station, but if that ain't your thing, we will be carrying the Friday tradition of progressive cask on over to Saturday. Sunday the 6th is Mother Earth Day-- we have six crazy beers from this small Vista brewery including one collaboration with Automatic that does involve coffee and a crazy hoppy IPA made with 11 pounds per barrel of hops.

Then on Monday, when we are usually closed, we are having a SKA(H) Night at BLAH with SKA brewing, the 30th anniversary of Dance Craze on the big screen and Miho out front.

Tuesday we begin again with a Blind IPA Challenge. Wednesday the 9th features beers from Pizza Port OB with brewer Yiga Miyashiro standing by to answer questions. Thursday the 10th we will have Chuck Silva here from Green Flash showcasing his hoppiest beers. Friday will be 11/11/11 and we will have Patrick Rue from The Bruery here, as well as a Progressive Cask. Saturday is all about Craftsman Brewing from Pasadena and Sunday, the day to rest, with a flight of Alpine beers.

It is mayhem around these parts during this weekend, but fun, air-conditioned (inside BLAH, and we got it tuned up so it's working better now) mayhem. Bands making an appearance include (but are not limited to) Dengue Fever, a weird Beat Farmersreunion, El Vez, Jack "Mr. Bongo" Costanza, Arthur Adams, Cedric Burnside Project, local faves The Creepy Creeps, The Bedbreakers,Black Hondo, The Amandas and more!

Today's cask is Firestone Walker's Union Jack. It will be on at 11:30am and cost $2 till 2:00, unless we run out. That's what we call the Progressive Cask. Because if it lasts beyond 2:00 then it's $3, until 3:00. And so on.

And then tomorrow our little Avenue transforms into a crazy music, craft, junk fair known as Adams Avenue Street Fair. This is what we suggest:

Stroll the Ave, grab some coffee, peruse the hippie jewelry and make sure you're front and center for the Bedbreakers at noon. Stay for the Amandas and then grab a beer and pizza in the air-conditioned comfort of Blind Lady. Head back out to see Black Hondo at 5:30 and then Dengue Fever at 7:30. If you can slip over to see El Vez in between for a bit, all the better. Try to catch the end of Mr. Bongo before heading back to BLAH for more food and/or beer.

On Sunday, take your time getting in, but make it to the Creepy Creeps at 2:45. This should be interesting -- watching them in midday sunshine -- and you maybe need a beer before, or after... or both. After that, your day just might be over. But if it's not, hit up either the Blues stage or the Worldbeat stage for some pleasant sounds. Oh, and the Beat Farmers play at 4:30.

In honor of Labor Day weekend, which is fast approaching, we are honoring the hardest working beer in the business: LAGERS. (The working man's beer, sort of. It's a stretch, but roll with it.) This is how we are honoring: we are serving them up in fancy glasses that we will give away to the first lucky people to visit during those times (give us a minute) and we are giving away, as in a RAFFLE (or we think the legal term is OPPORTUNITY DRAW) to win a very cool TRUMER PILS URBAN CRUISER (with seven speeds!) As in a bike! It's hanging in BLAH right now! This is a lot of exclamation points!

So starting this evening, you can get a raffle ticket (nee, opportunity draw ticket) for $1 or your wingspan worth of tickets for a $20. The draw will go all the way to the end o' Sunday night when we pick a ticket from the box and voila! That lucky person will get the bike. You need not be present to win.

But wait! There is more!

On Friday we will open with our classic $2 progressive cask (this week's cask is Sierra's Cask-Aid, get it? Cascade hops, it's a cask, we are full of puns around here) and then at 5pm we will break out the first GLASS GIVEAWAY of the weekend. What will it be? Trumer Pils, of course. And with each purchase of a Trumer, you get 2 tickets for the raffle. And the first 90 people or so get to keep the glass.

Then on Saturday, we open with ANOTHER GLASS GIVEAWAY. The beer? Avery Joe's Pils. We have a limited supply of Avery glasses to give away right at 11:30 am when we open, per person please, as supplies last, and no, you don't get a free raffle ticket with that beer. That's a mouthful. But wait, there is even more...

On Sunday we will have our final GLASS GIVEAWAY of the holiday weekend: Prima Pils from Victory. Same rules apply, one per, as supplies last. We open at 11:30 and that's when we bring out the glasses.

Then on Monday, when we said we'd be open and showing some cool movie, well, we lied. We decided to close. So enjoy your Monday Labor Day celebrations... elsewhere.

...but drink and drive responsibly. Just as a final note, a business, a tree and one of our beloved employees were all hit by a drunk driver this week. That's three different drunk drivers on Adams Ave. Barberside is reopened for business, the tree not so much, and our employee, who was on his bike, will heal up in a few weeks-all bad, but it all could have been so much worse. Beer is great, we ascribe to that tenet wholeheartedly, but when you drink it (and other libations we don't trade in), you got to not drive.

The one hour documentary examines the long-standing confrontation between mountain bikers and federal land management agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service over bikers’ rights and access to public lands. “Our primary theme here revolves around sustainability,” said writer/director Jamie Howell. “Mountain biking is exploding around the world. We will have to find new, cooperative approaches that both allow it as a legitimate use and manage it in a way that prevents the destruction of our precious and limited natural spaces.”

It's the 5th of June and we're business as usual. Oh, but we do have the best House Made Chorizo and Soyrizo Pizzas in town.

This Friday's cask is Firestone Walker's Pale 31. Should be delicious on cask. We open for lunch at 11:30 and the cask will be $2 'til 2pm, then $3 'til 3pm (if it lasts that long).

This Saturday night is Night on Adams. There will be bands, art, music, drink specials and all sorts of things happening on Adams. Check out the Facebook Event Page or OnAdams.com for more info.

Beer Tasting will include two flights (or four beers) and the food tasting will include nibbles and noshes galore. You see, we've called on our friends to donate beer and food and so far so great. There are terrific raffle prizes and we will unveil the all-new Automatic Quartz Japan IPA which was made by Lee and Cy Henley of Alpine, from brewing materials donated by Alpine Brewery and Home Brew Mart. A little about that beer: 7% alcohol, made with 12% rice in the grist and Nelson hops. Cy and Lee intended to put ginger in the beer but found the hops character just too impressive.All monies from tickets and raffles will go to International Relief Committee's fund for Japan. Tickets are now on sale at Brown Paper Tickets. We will release more great information as it comes in but get your tickets now, we are selling only 150 tickets. Should be great time for an even greater cause.

This weekend is the City Beat Festival of Beers on Saturday, April 9th. It's sold out... wah wah. We will be bringing the Automatic Coffee Rain. Hope to see you there. But if not, remember, BLAH is open and serving lunch and 20+ beers on tap (and with no entry fee.)

We mentioned this before, but Automatic has a new beer brewing in collaboration with Cy Henley (of Alpine.) It was made with mostly donated goods and the proceeds are going to go to the Japanese Relief efforts. Monday, April 25th we are going to have a ticketed charity event. Last night was a huge success! Thanks for all who attended and all who helped out. Thanks to The Station and Toronado for putting up with our shenanigans.

He wasn't Ron Burgundy, Ricky Bobby or even George W. Bush -- the comedian who coined the phrase “Stay Classy San Diego,” was in town to lend humor to a very serious cause.

"It's really one of the more fulfilling things myself and my wife get to do,” said former Saturday Night Live star Will Ferrell.

For years, he’s done all types of fundraisers to support “Cancer for College,” a Vista charity that gives out scholarships to students in remission. On Saturday—it was all about a pub crawl. At $250 a ticket, the event was completely sold out within hours. READ MORE

Tonight for DrinkAbout, we'll be tapping a special cask of "Ingrid's 1 in 8": The beer is a Belgian Amber with cocoa nibs, ginger, and orange zest...then aged on Rum-Soaked Oak-Chips! This is a collaboration beer made by Ballast Point and Coronado Brewing Co to support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. "Ingrid" refers to Ingrid Qua, new owner of the High Dive bar, and who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The "1 in 8" refer to odds of a woman developing breast cancer, a staggering statistic. Like we did for Automatic Thank You Mamm, we will be donating $1 from each glass of this beer to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Taps at 5pm.

We just found out that New English has a tasting room in the Old Mission Brewery Building at the bottom of India Street. Funny thing is that probably about 20 years ago I saw that sign and went searching around the building so i could have a tasty craft beer, but there wasn't a brewery to be found. We are open Christmas Eve, normal hours (bring the family!) .

We are closed during the day but will open at 5pm for evening drinking only (no food!) We are a great place to go after the family thing for a drink and some socializing.

NEW YEARS
And then we are going to celebrate New Years Eve Belgian style! What does that mean? It means that we will open at 11:30am for lunch and then at 3:00 pm PST when the native Belgians will be celebrating their New Years turnover, we will be tooting our horns and screaming Happy Day! And we will have a lot of Belgian beer on to celebrate. Also... If you have a young family and want to celebrate New Years but don't want the kids staying up till Midnight, this is the perfect time and place to bring 'em and celebrate.
And then, and please take note, we are closing the kitchen at 9 pm and the whole place at 10 pm (last call at 9:15 pm) on New Years' Eve so that our employees can actually celebrate elsewhere. You can come hang out beforehand here, eat and drink and be merry and then celebrate the turning of the clock elsewhere!

UPDATE: We've just got word that the annual Kensington Tree Lighting will take place at 5pm on December 11th to kick of Holiday Night on Adams. This celebration is moving to the Kensington Library Park in honor of the Kensington 100th Anniversary. They will be lighting the living Pine Tree located on the corner of Marlborough and Adams. Check it out early and then head out on the Avenue.

Help us decorate our tree and maybe you will a prize! Bring us an ornament for our tree (handmade is best) and we will pick the best ones after Christmas and award prizes, wonderful prizes! Please no profanity, or mean-ness, we are kid-friendly after all, but beer-related is grand. Just bring it to the counter to "sign in" and get credit. The tree should be going up soon!

And we’re a little fanatical about quality. This obsession is certainly exemplified in our beer—from the brewery to your glass, we do everything we can to ensure the beer tastes as the brewer intended.

The Art of Organoleptic-Enhancement Engineering.
Draft beer takes center stage at the Blind Lady Ale House. We’ve designed and built a unique system that incorporates a multitude of specialized components to ensure that your drinking experience is the very best it can be.

Our Direct Draw System. Direct-draw is a term used to describe a draft system that places the kegs in direct contact to the faucets so the kegs are cooled by the same refrigeration source that cools the beer-line and the faucets. This means that the beer-line is not very long, and that the beer arriving in your glass has only recently left the keg. This results in a fresher, more accurate beer flavor. If you see a tap tower, and below it there is no refrigerator holding kegs, you are probably not seeing a direct-draw system. Which begs the questions: Where are the kegs on-tap stored? And how long ago did my beer leave the keg on the way to my glass? (Sadly, the answer may be a few days ago!)

Our All Stainless Steel Metal Components. Save for the lines, everything else, from the keg to the faucet, is in fact made from stainless steel. This includes the coupler (the device that connects to the keg), the tail-pieces (the barbed pieces that connect the beer-line), the shank (the part that goes through the wall), and the faucet. In the processing of beer at a brewery, only stainless steel is used. However, most bars use nickel-plated brass—an odd choice indeed, because it reacts horribly with the beer. But the thing is, it’s cheap. A brewer would never use a brass component in the brewery, so why should we in our bar?
And you know what—our beer tastes fresher.

Our Glass Rinser. Many of you have noticed that we rinse the glass just before we fill it with your beer. And many of you have asked, “Why?” The Health Department requires a final rinse of sanitizer before air-drying. This is great for sanitation, but not so good for beer flavor— you’re left with sanitizer residue in your beer! So we rinse your glass with water that has been carbon filtered to neutralize any foul odors or tastes.

The Art of Appropriate Glassware.
A lot of thought has gone into the choices we’ve made regarding our glassware. Each glass is craft-beer appropriate, with it's own set of organoleptic-enhancing features.

The Honest Pint. All of our standard glasses have a pour-line, which ensures that you are getting what you pay for. The serving-sizes are listed on the chalkboard menu, right there next to the %ABV and the price. We were in fact the first Certified Honest Pint establishment in Southern California. No cheater-pints here.

Aroma & Foam. We selected glasses that are larger than our pour, which allows room for foam on top of the beer. The foam not only looks beautiful, it also enhances the experience by releasing the drink’s aroma—and the majority of flavor is aroma. Lasting foam is considered a positive attribute to a beer: it reflects a clean glass and beer-line, as well as the Brewers’ skill during the process, and their ability to preserve subtle flavors in the beer.

Temperature. Cold beer is refreshing! But even a standard 16-ounce pint glass often leaves the last sip of beer warm.

Our larger glass, the 21.5 ounce Willy, is engineered to keep beer cool until the last drop—it features a large, solid mass of glass that acts a little like a non-melting ice-cube. Our Snifter is used for stronger, more complex beers that aren’t served quite as cold. It is engineered to fit nicely in the palm of your hand, which allows you to bring the temperature of the beer up.
The Footed Pilsner is an intermediate between the Willy and the Snifter, combining some features of each glass.

The Footed Pilsner is used for half-pours of beers that normally come in the Willy, as well as some of the more refreshing-yet-strong beers from our daily selection.

Design. The Belgians are probably the most celebrated for their beer-specific glass shapes, which are not just about function, but often express an artistic form. There is a sculptural element to the glass, and the various shapes can add to the landscape of the table. Our array of glassware is not just enjoyable to drink from, but also to view and to hold.

The Brewmaster Series offers you the opportunity to taste, listen and discuss the beers with the brewer who crafted them. You can find out the why and the how and just generally learn more about beer. These events are limited in size and therefore tickets must be purchased ahead of time. So, this whole blind flight thing was super hard. 79 people (including several professional brewers and certified beer judges) took a swipe at it, but nobody got them all! In fact, only four people got 4 out of 6. Two of them were customers and two were employees. Yes, one of them was Lee. The winners (Mitch B. and John Clark Jr) will be notified via email and will receive $50 gift cards for their skills (or guesses).

Another interesting stat is that of the Blind Pints sold Union Jack and Blind Pig killed it. Guess there's a reason why they've won so many medals.

This year we're letting you be the judge.

What is a "blind flight"?
You'll be served six 5oz tasters, but you won't be told which is which. The breweries and beers will be on the board and you'll try to match the names with the samples.

Lee's Adventure at Beer Camp

**On Wednesday, September 1st we're debuting the Ghidorah Double IPA from Beer Camp at 5 pm. First 45 people get a keeper glass. The following is Lee's account of making the Ghidorah at Sierra.**

So a few weeks back, I was invited to the Sierra Nevada Brewery to make a batch of beer on their Ultra-High-Tech Small brewhouse. Not knowing all the details, and considering it for...oh...less than 1 second, I caved in to the pressure and said "Hell YES! Absolutely!"

I have a huge amount of respect for Sierra Nevada. Not only for their consistently delicious beers, but a few of my classmates from UC Davis Brewing Science school went to work there right out of school, and relayed their stories of how cool it was to work there.

About a year ago, Sierra Nevada started doing a thing called "Beer Camp" where people can come participate in the beer-making process on their small-but-sophisticated pilot brewhouse, making 10 barrels at a time. They spent an insane amount of money on this Pilot brewhouse, adding all the bells and whistles of a large, automated brewery in order to get the most valid information from the process. This allows them to experiment with the goal of accurately replicating a pilot batch on their larger 200 barrel brewhouse. Genius, right!? Of course. What a great opportunity to see some cool engineering, make some tasty beer, and generally shuck-and-jive with some seriously smart, passionate people.

So, I packed up my tent, a few changes of clothes, my skate board, a couple of technical brewing resources, and headed off to camp!

Upon arrival, our host, Steve Grossman says "What hotel do you have?" Hotel? I thought this was beer camp! And I seriously hoped to test out the CAMP part of the adventure. I mentioned that, being summer in Chico, with warm nights, and plenty of open space, I was prepared to camp. Steve is the brother of the owner of Sierra Nevada, Ken Grossman, so they discussed the camping option. They thought the idea was reasonable enough--they looked at each other and said "That sounds fun. We know a place where you can camp..." and gave me directions.

The next day our crew focused on the recipe, with a lot of emphasis on Hop variety. While we toured the facilities, getting familiar with the brewery grounds by bike-car (equipped with a keg of beer and a tap), we were able to discuss all of the aspects of their production--from Growing barley and hops (they have about 30 acres of barley, and about 9 acres of hops), to treating wastewater, and developing energy from Photovoltaic (solar) and waste-water-developed methane to power hydrogen fuel cells.

On the final day, we set out to brew the Ghidorah Double IPA. But before brewing it, we crossed paths with Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River Brewing Co. He was, of course, near the hop storage area, so we discussed some ideas for hopping this batch of beer. Why not get as much info as possible... and if anyone is an authority on hoppy beers, he certainly qualifies.

Once we had the recipe, the brewing process was fairly hands-off. We had the opportunity to add the hops, check out the pipe paths, test gravities, etc. And of course, taste the beer along the way.It would be a few weeks until we heard how the beer was coming along. But it was in safe hands.

Flash forward to September and here we are: we have the final product in-house at Blind Lady. A big 8.2% Double IPA. We are anxious to get familiar with it, and hope you have a chance to as well.

Ben Davidson is one of the great names in American Football. He's also become a great friend and we're so proud to be showing off his cans — beer cans, that is. Ben's been collecting cans and bottles for longer than most of you all have been alive. Recently we visited Ben's storage facility and cleaned it out — with his permission, of course. This weekend is the San Diego Beer Week'nd preview event and we're getting some pretty good stuff lined up.

Thursday: Automatic Brewing Co.
"Chocolate Rain, Too" will be on tap. 5 gallons will go on at 9pm and it's gonna go fast!

Friday: Friday Night Flights
We're putting together a flight of six beers that will showcase some fantastic samples of six different beer styles.
(The bar will be open at 11am for URUGUAY vs FRANCE game - NO KITCHEN)

Saturday: Green Flash Showcase
West Coast IPA , Xtra, Hophead Red, Matts Bitter , Citra Session Ale(5 gal), Cask American ESB, Draft ESB, Double Stout (5gal), Belgian Brown, Imperial IPA (5gal), Black Freak!!

We will have flights of six 5 oz tasters of:
1 xtra pale ale
2 citra session ale

Sunday: New English Showcase

Allagash Flights, Joshua Krause & Real Ale Fest
NO $3.50 CASK THIS WEEK: We will be sending our Beer Engine along with a cask of Automatic Brewing Co "Chocolate Rain, Too" to the Real Ale Fest at Pizza Port Carlsbad.

Allagash Flights will begin Saturday morning (June 5) at 11:30 featuring White, Black, Victor, Victoria, Dubbel and Curieux. Ride a bike, take a cab, hop on the bus or walk.

Later that day is Art Around Adams, from 3-9. This is a FREE event with 1.6 miles of art! We will be showing Joshua Krause's work in our unfinished space next door. It's your chance to see a peek into our progress AND check out Joshua's amazing work. We are big, big fans.

Real Ale Fest in Carlsbad at Pizza Port. It continues through Saturday the 5th, but we are bringing our beer, Chocolate Rain, Too to the Friday night event. If you've got tickets, you're in for a treat! In related news, we have a new house beer, unnamed as of yet, that we will debut next week (we think.) Look for updates in your email box.

Beer Hall and the World Cup

San Diego Beer Week'nd's Beer Hall is coming soon. Our own chef Aaron LaMonica is participating and has been paired up with Jeff Bagby of Pizza Port and boy o' boy is that a good thing. Get your tickets, this will sell out.

World Cup
On that same day we kick off our World Cup Lunch Series. We'll be open during the Cup for Friday lunches and will open on the weekends at 11am for all the 11:30 games. Watch for an email with a full schedule for those interested in playing hooky on Fridays or at least taking a long lunch.

Le Tour at BLAH: Running from Saturday July 3^rd to Sunday July 25^th 2010, the 97^th Tour de France will be made up of 1 prologue and 20 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,600 kilometres. Last year we showed the 9pm recap nightly and plan on doing the same this year. More info to come.
