We're so excited about this one, let's get right to it: This coming Sunday is our Adams Avenue Rec Center Event. $1 from every drink will go to fund programs for our local recreation centers. More specifically, it goes to man hours for teachers and leaders to help run workshops and classes for our neighborhood kids. That's pretty cool and we are hoping for a large turn out for this one to support such an amazing and (very) local cause. Come out Sunday, anytime day or night (we're here from 11:30 AM to midnight.) And there will be raffle!In case you're wondering, no, the rec centers aren't going out of business. We've just heard that funding has been tight and we want to do what we can to make sure our local centers keep on doing what they're doing.
UPDATE: We just got a skateboard pack from Toy Machine, a gift certificate from Riviera, shirts from Ponce's, gift certificates from Viva Pops, Pet Me Please and Tao, and various schwag items to give away!
